Mauricio Salaverra grew up as a coffee farmer from a young age now, he owns five small coffee farms and also owns a production processing plant under his supervision.
Pacamara, Bourbon, Pacas and Mara Catturra are the most famous varieties of coffee grown in
his farms Eldon Louis Caceres Mauricio's grandfather , had foreshadowed the quality of his 150 hectares and about the idea of using it for coffee plantation. Finca Himalaya is their original farm, which was cultivated by Mauricio’s ancestors, who immigrated to El Salvador from Basque country in the Pyrenees in the 1800s. The family acquired Finca Cruz Gorda in the 1940s.
Nowadays , the coffee produced by this farm has not disappointed our confidence on
it ,and has been and remains the best of El Salvador. Mauricio planted cypress, pine and inga trees to offer ideal shade cover for growing coffee. The region’s rich volcanic soil provides plenty of nutrients.
