Nandi Community Natural
Nandi Community Natural
This natural lot represents a blend of cherries from community farmers across Nandi county. All cherries were first inspected and floated to ensure uniformity, then fermented under sealed anaerobic conditions in barrels for 120 hours. Each barrel was rolled twice daily to maintain active and even fermentation.
After fermentation, cherries were dried on raised African beds for 2–3 weeks, turned regularly to promote even drying and prevent over-fermentation.
The resulting cup is fruit-forward and smooth, with notes of ripe berries, grape, and black tea. A clean and expressive nature that reflects the care and control behind its processing.
